BTS, an acronym of Bangtan Sonyeondan, is a South Korean group that debuted in 2013 consisting of
band members RM, Jin, SUGA, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook.
The group has become a global sensation, from being nominated twice at the Grammy Awards
to selling out multiple stadium tours across the world.
Their immense popularity is a result of not only eye-catching performaces but also songs that
despite being primarily sung in Korean have resonated with fans
from different parts of the globe. The positive influence they've had has resulted in them speeking at
UN conferences and being labeled TIME Magazine's Entertainer of the Year 2020.
Having become a fan of BTS in early 2020, I have learnt a fair share about the group. From their metoric and unexpected rise to stardom from being to
unintentionally memorizing their birthdays, I currently possess a surfeit information I feel the need to share with the world.
